The Air Bags/Head Restraint card serves a double purpose. One side explains how head restraints provide life saving protection as well as direction on how to properly adjust your head restraint. The other side provides important information on air bags and how they work in relation to your seat belt and positioning of your seat when you are driving. It also contains a quick measuring device to ensure that you are allowing the recommended 10 inches between your chest and the air bag.

The Choking Game

What You Should Know:
You may never have heard of the choking game, but if you have children in school, they probably have. Across the country, dozens of children have died from engaging in this risky behavior, where they cut off the oxygen to their brains in order to get "high." The American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division, wants you to be aware of the dangers of the choking game and know the warning signs. A one-page handout is available on our resources page to give you the information you need to help stop this dangerous "game."
