National Injury Prevention Day
Join the American Trauma Society, Pennsylvania Division (ATSPA) on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, for National Injury Prevention Day: Prevention in Action—a statewide advocacy event recognizing the importance of preventing injuries before they happen.
This event brings together healthcare professionals, first responders, community organizations, policymakers, injury prevention advocates, and members of the public to raise awareness about preventable injuries and current outreach efforts across Pennsylvania.
Pre-registration is required for the opportunity to meet with legislators and discuss emerging injury prevention topics and trends.
A press conference will begin at 12:15 PM, featuring an update on injury prevention efforts in Pennsylvania and the presentation of ATSPA’s Annual Trauma Prevention Awards:
- Dr. Webb S. Hersperger First Responder Call to Action Award
- Templeton-Cox Trauma Prevention Recognition Award
Everyone is welcome to attend. Whether you’re an advocate, professional, student, or community member, your participation helps strengthen the movement to prevent injuries and promote safer communities throughout Pennsylvania.
Registration is requested for all attendees.
